We interviewed actress Veronica Dunne, who stars as Marisa on the Disney show “K.C. Undercover,” when she was in Manhattan recently.

What do you and your character not have in common, like complete opposites?

I think she really doesn’t love school and not to say that I didn’t have my own whatever with school, but I definitely love to read and I don’t know if Marisa loves to read.

Who do you think you can cooperate with on the show or you have the best way of acting?

Probably Zendaya. We have so many scenes together and we’ve become really close and I think we have great chemistry on the show, on and off camera and on and off stage.

What’s your favorite part of being famous?

Am I famous? I don’t feel famous at all. I feel just as normal and insecure and crazy as any other human being walking the planet. But the things it has changed, I guess like . . . all the kids . . . being very excited. Those things are really amazing, but there’s also I think a growing pressure, too, because you have a lot more exposure and pictures. It’s scary sometimes, too, because being on a show and having a lot of eyes on you, you have to kind of watch yourself at all times. Yeah, so it’s different. It’s definitely something I’m getting used to.

Where do you get your fashion ideas from?

Well, my mom has a huge closet and she kept everything from like the ’60s and ’70s and I think when I was younger I used to just go and play in her closet all the time. So I got a lot of ideas from that. But I don’t know. I just kind of see what I’m in the mood for. I love vintage clothes too.

Growing up, what was your favorite Disney show?

“That’s So Raven” and “Lizzy McGuire.” I loved watching Disney when I was younger.

Do you have any future goals, like to continue acting or go to college?

I would love to continue acting and learning. I think there’s always room to grow and definitely want to keep training, and, like I said, come back here and do a show and just make great art that inspires people hopefully.

What is the funniest experience you had with the fans?

A lot of people can’t always put together like where I’m from or the exact name of the show or character. I get a lot of “You’re that girl!” I was in an elevator the other day and this guy just kept, he was hyperventilating, but he couldn’t put it together where I was from. That was kind of silly. Yeah, just funny little things that people say. Sometimes they think I’m actually Marisa.
