The fifth annual All Kids Fair, with more than 80 vendors including camps, after-school programs, gifted programs, special-needs programs and more is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 26, 2015, at the Melville Marriott.

Two expos featuring businesses and organizations that cater to children are taking place Sunday within five miles of each other in Melville.

The fifth annual All Kids Fair -- with more than 80 vendors, including camps, after-school programs, gifted programs, special-needs programs and more -- is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Melville Marriott. Two-dozen classes for kids are planned, included in the entry fee, in areas such as music, art, robotics, Spanish, tap, Gaga and more, says director Barbara Kaplan of East Hills. "We have a very eclectic bunch of things happening," she says.

The third annual Special Needs Expo will be going on from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Long Island Hilton in Melville, with more than 75 exhibitors who cater to children and adults with special needs. Exhibitors include doctors, therapists, recreational and sports programs and more. "It's not just for kids, but kids are a major part of what we do," says Special Needs Expo's spokeswoman Krista Giannak.

Says Special Needs Expo's partner Heather Angstreich of Plainview: "My son is 10, and he was diagnosed when he was 2 with autism. If I can make things easier for the people coming after us to find the information they need . . . that's what this is all about. When everybody is in that room together, it's amazing."
