App for kids: Sesame Street Elmo Story Collection

If there's one character who can entertain and make my daughter laugh, it's Elmo. So I was thrilled when I saw the new Sesame Street Elmo Story Collection iPad app.
The app includes six popular Elmo titles, plus two exclusives including:
Elmo’s ABC Book
Counting with Elmo
Mommy Loves Elmo
Tickle Me, My Name Is Elmo (audio e-book)
Elmo and His Friends (exclusive audio e-book)
Monsters Can Share (exclusive audio e-book)
The Elmo Story Collection app also includes text highlighting, which visually helps new readers while listening to the audio e-books. The auto-play feature automatically turns book pages, making it easy for toddlers like my daughter to follow along.
The other thing I loved about this app is that once downloaded, it's accessible without an Internet connection. This was one of the things that helped entertain my daughter when we lost power due to superstorm Sandy. Plus, it's great for longer car rides and those times when we're out and about.
