Back-to-school events at Roosevelt Field and Smith Haven malls

It's time to start planning for back to school and to help your kids (and you!) get in the school mindset, Simon Malls is hosting a series of "Back At It" events for tweens and teens.
The event will take place at Roosevelt Field mall (630 Old Country Rd., Garden City) on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. in the North Court. The "Back At It" event team partnered with Teen Vogue to bring the latest fashion, beauty and pop culture trends and advice to tweens and teens.
Activities include musical performances by Liam Lis at 3 p.m. and Reverse Order at 4 p.m. Both artists will be available after for autograph signing. The first 200 registered individuals will receive a swag bag, while supplies last. You'll also be able to test your fashion IQ, learn about back-to-school trends, mallwide discount offers and samples and more.
In addition, two participants will receive a Teen Vogue and Simon Malls Trend Guide featuring fashion tips, advice and more.
A second event will take place at Smith Haven Mall (313 Smith Haven Mall, Lake Grove) on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 1-3 p.m. in the Center Court with a performance from Reverse Order at 1:30 p.m.
