“Blippi the Musical,” starring that goofy guy with neon orange suspenders, orange bow tie and orange glasses, is coming to the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on June 6.

A stage actor plays the Blippi character in this performance geared to children ages 2 to 7. The one-hour show is scheduled for 6 p.m., and includes an intermission. “It’s on a Monday night in time to get out of the house and have fun and go home on their bedtime schedule,” says Shari Linker, Tilles marketing director.

Blippi videos have been viewed by children around the word, as the energetic man in orange and blue teaches kids about letters and numbers and colors. The musical last came to Long Island in February 2020. This is the same show, but with the “Excavator” song included, Linker says.

Tickets are on sale at tillescenter.org, ticketmaster.com or through the Tilles Center box office at 516-299-3100. The Tilles Center is at 720 Northern Blvd., Brookville.
