In the community of Bridgehampton there are many wonderful places to visit. Here are just a few that we recommend for kids to check out:

CHILDREN’S MUSEUM OF THE EAST END This is a great place to go to in the fall because in addition to the cool play areas inside, where you can dress up as a pirate or as a firefighter, you can play miniature golf outside. Info: 376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Tpke.,

SOUTH FORK NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM has cool dioramas of local animals and a marine touch tank. You can also go to the back of the museum, take a walk and look at the beautiful nature out there. While you are out in the back, time flies — you can be out there for more than an hour. This museum is small but very interesting and educational. Info: 377 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Tpke.,

BRIDGEHAMPTON MUSEUM is a unique place. The museum helped to save the Nathaniel Rogers House in 2003, and it still has it. The museum is a nice historical society, and you are allowed to go there for Halloween. Info: 2368 Montauk Hwy.,

BRIDGEHAMPTON CANDY KITCHEN is a nice little place to eat at, and it also has homemade ice cream. The prices are reasonable for the Hamptons, and the food is great. It is also open year-round. You don’t want to miss this stop! Just delicious. Info: 2391 Montauk Hwy.

LONG POND GREENBELT NATURE CENTER is a wonderful place to visit if you would like to see nature and get some outdoor exercise. This wonderful place is known for its amazing hiking trails, which start on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike. The entire hike is about two miles long. On the trail you will get to see amazing views. Info: 1061 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Tpke.,

FAIRVIEW FARM is a beautiful place to visit if you want to learn about farming. The owners farm there and have a store that sells apple, cherry, peach, chocolate and pumpkin pies. They will teach you how to farm and when to start planting crops. They have great-tasting apples and other fruits and vegetables. Info: 19 Horsemill Lane,
