‘Captain Superlative!’ reviewed by LI kids

The book I read is a very good book. It is “Captain Superlative!” by J.S. Puller (Disney Hyperion). It is about a girl who is going through some trouble at school and is worried about what is going on in her life and at her school.
Her name is Janey and she is in sixth grade, just like us. The main idea of the book is that Janey meets this cool hero called Captain Superlative, and they team up to help each other. The deal is that Captain Superlative would help Janey with what she needs if she keeps the hero’s secret. Captain Superlative also helps Janey deal with the popular mean kid, Dagmar Hagen. She is crazy mean to most of the other kids.
Many of the people reading this have read and seen superhero books and movies. If you have, you know that many superheroes hold secrets, including Captain Superlative. When Janey figures out what Captain Superlative is hiding, she is really scared to find out what is truly at stake. Janey has to dig deep into her own secrets and Captain Superlative’s secrets.
You will have to read the book to find out what happens. One more hint you should know — Janey becomes something incredible at the end of the story.
