Celebrate Mud Day at Sweetbriar Nature Center

Play in the mud to celebrate International Mud Day from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Sweetbriar Nature Center, 62 Eckernkamp Dr., Smithtown.
Make mud pies, create princess mud (mud with glitter and rhinestones in it) and more. “It’s rain or shine, because if it rains, that just means more mud,” says Isabel Fernandes, wildlife care coordinator for Sweetbriar.
