'Dragon' scavenger hunt at Metropolitan Museum of Art
Do your kids love “How to Train Your Dragon 2”? If so, you may want to head into Manhattan over the weekend.
Watson Adventures is hosting a “How to Find Your Dragon Scavenger Hunt" at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (1000 Fifth Ave.) on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
Kids ages 10 and older with their families can look for dragons hidden in the museum’s art. Hunt together in search of Speckled Forktails, Black Grangles, Large-Mouthed Undertoads, Sinuous Silvery Snarches, Long-Tailed Knight Terrors, Bearded Sticklebacks, Seven-Headed Reapers and Hissing Halitosins. These fiery friends are hiding in paintings, statues, armor, jewelry, musical instruments and more.
Ticket prices for the 90-minute hunt are $40.50 per adult, $29.50 ages 10 to 17, which includes museum admission; advance purchase is required. For more information, call 877-946-4868, ext. 22, or visit WatsonAdventures.com.
