Feeding the kids: Green morning smoothies

In my ongoing quest to find tasty, kid-friendly food appropriate for the whole family, this week I chose an easy, healthy breakfast smoothie. I found the recipe on CouponsforChange.org, which was adapted from "Ten Dollar Dinners: 140 Recipes & Tips to Elevate Simple, Fresh Meals Any Night of the Week," by Melissa d'Arabian (Clarkson Potter, $24.99).
2. Add the oats and banana and blend on high for 15 seconds.
3. Add the peaches, honey and vanilla followed by the ice cubes and then the spinach.
4. Blend on high until smooth, about 45 seconds. Drink immediately.
