Didn’t you just love all of the new songs that came out in 2015? Well, at least we did. There were all types of genres, like hip-hop, pop, rap, and classic music. But no one could sing it like Andy Grammer, Adam Levine and R. City, Silentó, Rachel Platten and The Weeknd. We asked 128 fourth- and fifth-graders in our school to vote for their favorite songs of 2015. Here are our results:
“Fight Song” (Rachel Platten)42
“Can’t Feel My Face” (The Weeknd) 23
“Honey, I’m Good” (Andy Grammer)21
“Watch Me Whip” (Silentó)21
“Locked Away”(R. City)16
Were you shocked? We thought “Can’t Feel My Face” or “Honey, I’m Good” would be the winners, but “Fight Song” is one every single kid knew and if it wasn’t their favorite it was their second favorite. We are definitely looking forward to the new songs in 2016. Are you?
