New, free Fortnite birthday party option comes to Long Island party place

A free Fortnite tournament can be added to birthday party packages that are booked by Jan. 31 at Sky Zone Deer Park.
The new option can only be added onto Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday parties, and will cost $200 extra for parties booked after Feb. 1.
The package includes a tournament played on the facility’s five PlayStation 4 consoles and five headsets. Every party guest will play two to three rounds and accumulate points displayed on a leaderboard. The booking parent chooses the tournament prize.
Sky Zone Deer Park started offering Fortnite tournaments in November and decided to introduce it as an add-on for birthday packages, making parties both active during the jump time and allowing gaming time. Deer Park is the only Sky Zone that offers the add-on party option.
