Free event at Children's Museum in Bridgehampton

Multimedia artist Peter Tunney will be at the Children's Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, along with his traveling art installation "Dictionary Daze."

The exhibit consists of 26 silkscreened collages (one for each letter of the alphabet) inspired by illustrations found in the 1927 edition of Webster's International Dictionary. The first half of the exhibit has been on display since Memorial Day, and the second half will remain up through Labor Day.

Attendees will have the opportunity to create a T-shirt inspired by the exhibit.  Guests are encouraged to register by emailing liz@cmee.org so the museum has an idea of how many people may be there. The Museum is at 376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Tpke. For more information, visit cmee.org
