Girls 6 and older and their families, friends and American Girl dolls are invited to a presentation of historical and contemporary fashions at the American Girl Fashion Show.
You'll not only have fun but you'll also learn how clothing has changed to reflect culture.
Tea party-style refreshments and door prizes included. Raffles of dolls and accessories additional. Local girls will be modeling.
The show takes place 7 p.m. today, 2 and 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Mercy School, 520 S. Oyster Bay Rd., Hicksville.
PRICE: $35 ($20 tax deductible; benefits Our Lady of Mercy School); $252 for table of eight ($132 tax deductible). Tickets must be purchased in advance at americangirlfashionshows.com.
