Get crafty at Around the World event in New Hyde Park

Kids can travel the world without boarding a plane at Lakeshore Learning Store’s free Around the World event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at 2079 Hillside Ave. in New Hyde Park.

Kids will explore animals from various regions while doing animal-themed crafts, building replicas of world-famous structures and making planes, trains, cars or boats. They’ll also collect stickers in their “passports.”
