Governor’s offers stand-up summer class for kids

Funny kids ages 11 to 15 can take a stand-up comedy class this summer at Governor’s of Levittown, 90 Division Ave., Levittown.
Stand-Up “Kids” University is taught by professional stand-up comedians. In a series of class meetings over the course of three weeks, students are encouraged to create an original five-minute routine. The final class is a live show where students perform their acts for friends and family.
Classes begin on July 5 from 3 to 5 p.m. The graduation show is at 8 p.m. on July 21. Cost for the course is $295 per student. For more information, call 516-731-3358 or visit govs.com.
