Hanukkah fun at the Smith Haven Mall

Head to the Smith Haven Mall (313 Smith Haven Mall, Lake Grove) tomorrow for a free, family-friendly Hands-on-Hanukkah event.
Activities include a dreidel origami station, where kids can create their own dreidels while learning about the game and the meaning of the Hebrew letters used on each side.
There will also be a scavenger hunt, Hanukkah cookie decorating, olive oil tasting, drummings, hands-on volunteer opportunities, raffles and more.
Children can decorate their own Color-me Calendar, an activity-centered calendar that introduces kids and their parents to the symbols and story of Hanukkah.
This event will take place from noon-3 p.m. inside the Smith Haven Mall in front of Macy's and is hosted by Jewish Without Walls (JWOW) and the Jewish Outreach Institute (JOI).
