“Edge of Extinction: Code Name Flood” by Laura Martin (Harper) is a very interesting and action-packed book. It is the second book in the “Edge of Extinction” series.

This story is about a girl named Sky. She is sent out by her dad to find the marked spot on his map of an area near Lake Michigan. She goes with her friends Todd and Shawn. As they escape a pack of dinosaurs, they are met by two scientists in a boat and taken down to their lab. Sky, Todd and Shawn find out that their lab is the marked spot on the map. Sky and one of the scientists devise a plan to stop the Noah’s army from killing the dinosaurs in the lab.

Will they survive the Noah’s attack and save the dinosaurs? Read the book to find out! It is a great story for boys and girls ages 8 to 13.
