How to get to Trick or Treat Street
Our school district likes to help younger kids celebrate Halloween. They have a special Trick or Treat Street at two high schools -- Centereach and Newfield -- and they make them for kids to come by after school. They are run by the National Honor Society, and they raise money for local charities.
There are a bunch of rooms with games and candy. Some of the games are toilet paper mummy and football throwing, and there is a room with a slope where you can ride down on a little cart.
At Newfield, they have two mazes: a small one, and a big one with things that pop out at you. In the big maze, there are kids dressed as things to scare you.
Finally, at Newfield, there's a room where they have an obstacle course. And when you're done, you get candy. Whoever gets to the obstacles first gets the most candy.
Trick or Treat Street is a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween.
