It’s the middle of winter and it is just too cold outside to play. Our school came up with a great idea to keep us happy when we are stuck inside, and that is to play board games. They have lots for us to choose from.

We recently played Chutes and Ladders. That game has been around for a long time, but just because it is old doesn’t mean it isn’t fun. It was a good game. We loved it a lot. We played it with our friend Matt, too. William won. It took only us five minutes to play.

Here is another fun part about board games at recess: You not only get to compete against your friends, but you are competing against the clock as well. When the bell rings, the games have to end and it is back to classes.
