Rockville Centre resident Katie Duffy Schumacher will launch her self-published book “Don’t Press Send: A Mindful Approach to Social Media, An Education in Cyber Civics” ($14.95) at 8 p.m. Sept. 29 at 65 Pine St., Rockville Centre.

The book offers parents guidelines and strategies as they steer their children to use technology with good intent.
