If you helped cut your little gamer’s teeth on games such as Tetris, Mario Brothers and Space Invaders, head to Huntington on Saturday, April 16, for the Keep Pluggin Retro Video Game Event.

Scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington, the event will feature free play as well as cash prizes in video game tournaments.

Vendors also will be on hand buying and selling old-school games.

“The event is perfect for those who have a closet full of old video games they want to turn into cash, and for those who just want to play Super Mario Brothers again,” Ben Farrell, Keep Pluggin’s event founder, said in a news release.

General admission tickets are $10; those 10 and younger, $6. They can be purchased at nwsdy.li/gameevent or bought at the door. Part of the proceeds will go to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Huntington.
