If you are the type of person who loves to garden but can't spend too much time outside, the Ready, Set, Gro Windowsill Greenhouse (Miracle-Gro Kids) is perfect for you. The kit has detailed instructions for setting up the greenhouse, seeds to three different flowers and soil. In addition, this wonderful kit also includes a chart to record the dates when the plants sprout and grow, as well as information about your plants.

All you have to do is assemble the greenhouse and add water to the soil mix and plant the seeds inside the small greenhouse. With the right amount of water and sunshine, the plants start to sprout in about a week. This windowsill greenhouse is easy to take care of and can be kept almost anywhere that gets sunlight.

The only thing you have to do is water the plants every few days. Growing these plants is easy if you follow the instructions.

Our school Garden Club

If you have a green thumb, the Gardening Club at the Jericho Middle School is one of the best places to be. Anyone can attend the club's meetings every Thursday after school. Snacks and drinks are served.

At Gardening Club, we plant flowers by the school entrance to make visitors feel welcome. Even a rainy day doesn't stop us from having fun -- we make garden decorations and even our own Chia Pets. Chia Pets are made from Styrofoam cups. The creator draws a face on the cup, then plants grass seed inside. When the grass grows, it looks like green hair. --Kidsday Reporter Amanda Yao

MLB The Show

MLB The Show is a game made for the PlayStation Vita (Sony). The latest version has very good graphics. It has a number of different game modes. In some, you pick a major-league team (for example, the Mets), and you play with that team for the game.

Another mode is when you get to pick your own players and play a whole season with them. When you are pitching or batting, you can adjust your ball or bat placement to wherever you want it to be. When fielding, you can dive for a fly ball, stop a grounder or sometimes, if you don't throw the ball at the right time, the ball will go over or wide of the base player. That's what makes the game feel more realistic. You can even play this game online for free! I really liked this game.
