Kidsday: Harry Potter, Discovery Times Square
We went to Discovery Times Square in Manhattan to see the Harry Potter Exhibition. It was amazing, and we had a blast.
We saw many of the original props from the Harry Potter movies. We saw the school uniforms from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and the magic wands that students had to learn to use. We also saw a giant dragon's head, Dobby and his tiny goblins, a special but dangerous spider, and the colorful half man/half horse.
Hanging on the walls were the wanted posters and the photographs of the evil villains from the series. Each of us had different favorites from the exhibition. Lizzie liked the dragon. Alec liked the huge spider. Kyle liked the pictures of villains. Nora liked the wanted posters.
We did agree on one thing. Everyone should try to go to this exhibition. If you have read the books or watched the movies, you will especially enjoy this exhibit. Even if you have not been a fan of Harry Potter, you will still enjoy seeing the costumes and props from a real movie. It is a great day trip for the whole family. One tip, though, for kids 6 and younger: the exhibit might be too scary.
We had a great time. As an added bonus, the day we were there, we met James and Oliver Phelps, the identical twin brothers who played Fred and George Weasley in the "Harry Potter" movies. You can watch our video with them. Go to exploreLI.com /kidsday.

Online-literature.com
Online-literature.com is an excellent website because you get to read thousands of classic books for free. It is very good, because it works on your tablet, mobile phone or desktop. That means you can read books on the go. You also don't have to download anything. Pretty much all of the best books ever are there, such as "A Tale of Two Cities." It has books by many well-known authors, such as Jules Verne, Jonathan Swift and Charles Dickens. The site gives you a chance to get a taste of books from famous authors as well as some you may not have heard of.
This is an amazing website, and I use it to read books sometimes.
