They're back!

Kidsday reporters played with a variety of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures and play sets (Playmate Toys). They think if you are around age 6, you will really like them. Some of the action figures were Splinter the Rat (he's the coolest!), Michelangelo (his joints are flexible and bendable in every direction), Leonardo (he has seven different weapons), April O'Neil (she can move her arms and legs, and is able to hold weapons), Donatello (he is so cool, they played with him for three straight hours), Shredder (he comes with a sword and two ninja stars; he is full of spikes, and he has a Samurai helmet) and Kraang (he has a creature in his stomach, and he looks like a robot).

A DIRECT HIT

If you like darts and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, you might want to get the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Dartboard (Nickelodeon). It is reversible, with two different images for you to throw magnetic darts at. I thought it was OK, but I am not a real big fan of TMNT.

WE LOVE THE WINX DOLLS!

(Winx Club / Jakks Pacific)

We think kids will love the Winx Dolls. We played with many of them, either by ourselves or with our younger siblings. Our younger sisters liked to hold the dolls and play with them while the show was on TV. We played with Aisha, Bloom, Flora, Tecna, Stella and Musa. We liked the accessories, such as hair brushes, skirts, boots, leggings and earrings. As one of our little sisters said, "I like this one, but now I want another one!" You can get the regular fashion dolls or the collection dolls. They come in lots of different outfits.

CUDDLE WITH INKOOS

Inkoos (inkoos.com) are little bears that you can do fun activities with. They are cuddly and cute. You can draw all over them, and they glow at night. However, they make you feel safe at night -- if you are scared of the dark.

I like this toy because you can do whatever you want with it. They come with washable markers, so if you draw all over them and want to erase, you can do that.

TWISTER DANCE

(Hasbro)

Twister Dance is a game that plays music, and you can dance to it. It gives you a choice of five songs to dance to, or you can use your own MP3 player instead. When you find the song you want to dance to, you hit play. Next, you will see red lights flashing; and when you hear a ding, that's when you start. You have to coordinate the flashing colors with the ones on the floor and step on them. I did find some negatives. While you're playing, the spots sometimes stick to your feet. Also, it's confusing to see which light is on, so you don't know which foot to move to the spot.
