At Nopal Restaurant in Westbury, you get great food and great service. They make Mexican and Central American food.  My family goes to Nopal a lot.  My mom likes to take me there since the food is so fresh and the prices are very affordable.

They have a juke box so you can play your favorite songs while you’re eating. I like the way Nopal is decorated, and the place always smells so good. If you sit at the counter, you can watch them cook. Everyone who works there is so nice and friendly.

One night, we ordered pupusas, stuffed corn tortilla with beans and cheese. The tacos are the best, and they are served with your choice of beef, chicken or shrimp, onions, cilantro and guacamole. On another night, I ordered the chicken burritos, and they were huge. I couldn’t finish the burrito, so I took it home and had the leftovers the next day. There are also specialty dishes that are fancy, like camarones a la Veracruz (shrimp Veracruz) in a spicy tomato sauce.

I see a lot of kids from my school go there with their families, too. I know they also deliver because my teacher orders lunch from there once in a while. It is a very popular place in town, and I highly recommend it for a delicious lunch or dinner. You will not be disappointed.
