We went to Greenpoint, Brooklyn, in November to interview Oscar the Grouch and singer Michael Bublé. Michael was filming his Christmas special "A Michael Bublé Christmas," which airs Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 8 p.m. on NBC / 4.

When we arrived, Oscar the Grouch was filming his scene with Michael. Besides the television crew, we were the only people watching. Oscar and Michael did their scene about five times because there were a few mess-ups, but we thought it was so funny. Now we know where all those TV bloopers come from. After the performance, we went on the stage and took a picture with Oscar and then we took the elevator to the green room to have our chat with Oscar (you can read our interview with him: Explore LI .com/kidsday). He was the same way in the interview as he is on "Sesame Street," a little grouchy, but in the funniest way possible. We asked him a lot about his life on "Sesame Street."

After interviewing Oscar, we waited to meet Michael. He greeted us as if we were old friends. He made us feel so comfortable. He was so nice and answered all of our questions. Did you know that he first heard his song on the radio when he was just 16? He shared his excitement with us. We just loved it.

We think his "Christmas" album is amazing. We asked him if he dedicated the songs to anyone in particular. Michael said, "The first song on the Christmas record is 'It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.' I would like to dedicate it to you. You could tell everybody that's your song. So when it plays you can say, Bublé said that's my song. And all the other ones, I don't know. I dedicate them to all the people, all the families. When I was your age I loved Christmas. I would wake up in the morning and forget about the morning, the month or two months before -- I would start to smell it. I still get so excited."

At the end of the interview, we even started singing his hit song, "Just Haven't Met You Yet," and he joined in and helped us add some enthusiasm and energy to the song. When we were done, he autographed his poster for us. Check exploreLI.com /kidsday to see our video interview with him.

It was a great day at the studio. We can't wait to see the special Tuesday night.
