Kidsday talks with Cody Linley
We were chosen to go into Manhattan to meet Cody Linley at the Hiro Lounge in the Maritime Hotel.
Cody plays Jake Ryan on Disney TV show “Hannah Montana.” He was a spokesman for the new video game Super Monkey Ball Step and Roll (Sega Games).
We were a few of the first kids to try out the game. This is a Wii game that is enjoyable for all ages. You pick your character and start your journey through the many levels trying to collect bananas and find the portal to the next level. There are many unique worlds in the game. You can use the Wii balance board or the Wii remote. Multiple players can play as long as you have enough remotes. It is a fun, active and great family game. It is a very realistic experience. We felt like we were in the game ourselves. If you don’t have this game, you should get it.
Right before we played Super Monkey Ball Step and Roll we sat down with Cody and asked him if he liked the game.
Cody said, “Super Monkey Ball Step and Roll is an awesome game. It’s fun for all ages, and you guys would like it. It’s got 21 mini games, and it’s got 70 puzzles that you can do, and it also has a bunch of different worlds and zones that you can play in.”
We asked him if he liked video games, and Cody said, “I love video games. It fun to actually feel like you’re a part of this game because they have the balance board, the Wii balance board, and you feel like you’re actually inside the ball. It’s pretty cool.”
Finally we asked him out of all the games in Super Monkey Ball, which one he was best at playing.

“I’m best at bowling on the Wii,” he said. “Last time I did it, I got like a 230, and that’s almost 300, which is almost perfect.”
