We just saw the greatest movie ever, and we think you should see it! The new Disney TV movie “Geek Charming” stars Sarah Hyland and Matt Prokop.

It is about a girl named Dylan (Sarah) who is a diva. She is running for Blossom Queen. There is a boy named Josh (Matt). He is doing a film on Dylan that is supposed to be about her running for Blossom Queen. Everyone around thinks he is a geek. Dylan is “popular” and seems so cool.

Once Dylan sees a picture of her mom, who was a Blossom Queen but has passed away, we see that there is more to Dylan than just winning Blossom Queen.
If you really want to see the most broken-down car ever, you should check out Josh’s car in this movie.

In “Geek Charming,” Dylan makes Josh an “everything but the kitchen sink” ice cream sundae. It’s a crazy sundae. You get any sugary thing you can find, plop it on the sundae and just start to eat it. Once you see it, you will want to have it all . . . and you will want to see this movie.

We were sent an advance copy of the movie, then we went to ABC offices in Manhattan to interview Matt and Sarah.

We asked what it was like to play the role of Josh. He said, “It was a lot of fun. He was exactly what I was like in high school. Didn’t really know where he belonged and was kind of trying to just stay under the radar and not offend anyone. And just try and get along with everyone until he meets the school diva, Dylan Schoenfield. She was crazy.”

We told him we loved his junk car. We wanted to know where they got it. Matt said, “That was actually rescued from a junkyard. They were going to destroy the car because it wasn’t running, and it was a piece of junk, as they call it. And we actually had to jump-start it every single time we wanted to use it, and sometimes just roll it into the camera shot because it wouldn’t start half of the time. It was a scary car to be in.”

And we would love to taste that special sundae they had in the movie. We asked Matt about making it. He said, “It was a lot of fun, but I got really full. We ate about probably four scoops of ice cream and about a pound of gummy bears. It’s very filling.”

We wanted to know if Sarah was popular in high school just like her character was. Sarah said, “I guess I was popular in school. We didn’t have a lot of kids in my school, so everybody knew each other, and everybody was friends. So everybody was popular at my school. There wasn’t like the losers or geeks, or popular kids or cheerleaders. I was popular, but just because everybody else was popular.”

Sarah also stars in the TV show “Modern Family.” We wanted to know what it was like to go from TV to movies. She said, “It wasn’t that hard because I’ve done movies before, but it was definitely different because the hours are a lot longer on a movie than our TV show.”
