Are you a fan of music group Kidz Bop?  We were the lucky few who got to not only interview them, but watch them rehearse for their newest music video “No Brainer.”  We were also able to hang out on set with them at Candytopia in Manhattan recently.

After they were done with rehearsal we interviewed Shane, Ahnya, Julianna, and Isaiah. They were all really nice. We talked to them about when they started and where they see themselves in the future.  They were all 11 to 13 years of age. Most of them wanted to be a singer or performer or even actors.

Shane also mentioned if not a performer he would love to play professional basketball. Julianna said that she would like to be involved with the behind-the-scenes activity, like being a creative director. The creative director has inspired her to want to stay with Kidz Bop once she is older to help other kids achieve their dream of performing with Kidz Bop. Ahnya said if she decides to leave performing and acting she would like to become a doctor because she likes helping people. Isaiah dreams of becoming an actor and staying with performing and entertaining.  They had really cool jackets that were really cool colors and had K.B. on them as well. They were designed by their stylist and always get them lots of attention when they wear them.

We also got to jump in the giant marshmallow pit with them at Candytopia.  We had a really great time spending time with the Kidz Bop kids. They were just like us and made us very comfortable and encouraged us to always work hard for what you want in life. Kidz Bop is also great because it gives you a chance to listen to your favorite songs in an appropriate way.

We found out that “No Brainer” is going to be on their new album – Kidz Bop 39 -- which is due out in January.  We liked that they said that one of their favorite shows on the 2018 tour was when they visited Jones Beach in the summer. They were so happy to perform in front of about 15,000 fans.

Thank you guys for spending time with us and we are looking forward to seeing you perform again! To find out more about their 2019 tour, visit their website: https://kidzbop.com/
