L.L. Bean hosting Toddler Tuesday at Long Island store

Long Island’s only L.L. Bean store is hosting free events for toddlers.
The store, located in the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove, is hosting Toddler Tuesdays, a weekly program filled with nature-inspired activities in a tent with L.L. Bean sleeping bags. There will be a new outdoor-themed seasonal story followed by a related craft each week.
"We have simple crafts any young child could do, so we can get the infants and toddlers really involved,” said Colm McCarthy, L.L. Bean's outdoor program and outreach coordinator. Past activites include coloring books and cutting jack-o-lanterns out of construction paper.
Each class takes place at 10 a.m. every Tuesday through the end of February, and lasts about an hour. Although the event is free, registration is required. For more information, or to register, visit llbean.com.
