Watching movies on the beach this summer? You bet!
The Civic Associations in Long Beach along with organizers Eastholme Civic Association, West End Neighbors Civic Association and Westholme and Walks Civic Association, in cooperation with the City of Long Beach recently announced the free 2019 Saturday Nights on the Beach, featuring kid-friendly movie nights.
Here is a preliminary list to help you make plans for this summer's movie events in Long Beach:
"Jaws," Saturday, June 29, Grand Beach at 8:30 p.m.
"The Goonies," Saturday, July 13, Lafayette Beach at 8:30 p.m.
"The Greatest Showman," Saturday, July 27, Riverside Beach at 8 p.m.
"The Rocky Horror Picture Show," Saturday, Aug. 10, Grand Beach at 7:30 p.m.
"Ralph Breaks the Internet," Saturday, Aug. 24, Lincoln Beach at 7:30 p.m.
Be sure to bring blankets and chairs.
