We're from Miller Place and Sound Beach and we recently made the trip to Westchester to visit the New York Rangers training facility. We watched the team practice.
For all you die-hard hockey fans, we had an experience of a lifetime! Watching a game is exciting, but experiencing a practice session with the Rangers was incredible. We were able to sit in on a Rangers practice session and it was amazing to see how these talented players prepare to play. The practice ran for about an hour and most of the time was spent running drills. But, it got even better. After practice was over, defenseman Ryan McDonagh was interviewed by Kidsday. We were so excited for him because he was talking all about making the Olympic team and going to the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi.
