Make new students feel at home in school

There are all kinds of ships. But we say the best ship is friendship. With a new school year starting this week, how will you treat the new students in your class or school? We wanted to know how kids felt.

Most kids agreed and said, yes, play with a new kid during rec time. It is a good time to show new kids around the school. It is also a good way to find out about the kid and where he or she is from. Kids said that you should at least say hello to the new kids because they are probably very nervous.

A few kids said that they should try to figure things out on their own. Their reason was because they did not want to force the new kid to be their friend.
