Recently, I made a feast for breakfast. I love to wake up early to cook. My sister Stephanie helped me with the eggs and French toast. I made hash browns, bacon, sausage, cannoli filling and coffee. On other weekends, I have made homemade blueberry pancakes or homemade waffles with the side dishes.

Sometimes I have walked to the grocery store with my dad so we could get some fruit for a healthy fruit salad in the morning. In the fruit salad, we put some berries, melons, apples, oranges, pears, star fruit, kiwi and pineapple. If you put the berries in a different bowl, you could add a little bit of sugar on top if you have a sweet tooth. I would advise you to separate soft fruits and hard fruits because after the fruits get cut, they get softer.

If we have a long day ahead of us, we would make eggs and squeeze some oranges so we could have fresh orange juice in the morning. I love to cook on the weekends. It feels so special because the family looks forward to the sweet smells of the bacon and French toast. By the time I am finished cooking, it is about noon.

The only reason I have to cook so much is because I have six people in my family, and we all love a warm meal, which wakes everybody up in the morning and makes them happy all day long.
