McKenna kids want sports teams

At McKenna Elementary School (kindergarten through sixth grade) in Massapequa Park, most of the fifth-graders think we should have school sports teams. We polled the students, and 60 out of 66 kids said yes, they would like to have school teams. They like the village teams and things like Little League and football, but playing for a school team would be best of all.
