Moving is my family’s business

Samonas Prime Moving and Storage is a family-owned and -operated business, and has been for more than 25 years. The company is owned by my grandfather, Don Samonas, and my dad, Brian Samonas.

If you need to get a price on moving your furniture and boxes, Brian will give you an estimate. During the estimate, he will record all the furniture and boxes that would go on the trucks and then give you a price.

The company does local and long-distance moves. You can get a container on wheels if you have a small load that needs to be moved. If you are moving out of state, some of the states Samonas Prime Moving and Storage travels to are North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

Sometimes I go to work with my dad to help out. I might carry small boxes carefully and other types of light furniture. I would like to help more, but I will have to wait until I am older. I don’t want to make customers nervous that I might break their valuable belongings. Maybe when I am 16, I could work for my dad and earn a paycheck!
