New rock music, lullabies and more for kids

Whether your kids like rock, bluegrass or lullabies, we found music just for them. Here are some new tunes for kids.
Randy Kaplan will perform bluegrass-style children's songs at 11a.m. Saturday at the Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre, 4 Hampton St. (Route 114), Sag Harbor. $10; $5 children younger than 3, 631-725-4193, goatonaboat.org. Kaplan's new CD, "Jam on Rye," comes out June 1 and includes an ode to a shower door, a song about being bald and more. Fans can buy the CD at the show for $15.

Latin Grammy winners Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band will release a new Spanish-language album Monday called "Aqui, Alla" ($10.99) in conjunction with Cinco de Mayo. The band performs a Spanish- language version of "Itsy Bitsy Spider" on "La Pequeña Araña." "Aqui, Alla" -- translated as "Here, There" -- represents the diverse heritage of so many Americans.
The Bari Koral Family Rock Band has a new CD coming out May 13 called "The Apple Tree & the Honey Bee" ($11.98), and Bari Koral will soon be seen as the host of a yoga-based, movement-and-music TV show for kids on the Veria Living Network called "Yogapalooza." Koral grew up in East Meadow.
