'No Slam Dunk' review: Mike Lupica's amazing book about basketball
I was so happy to receive a copy of “No Slam Dunk” written by Mike Lupica (Philomel Books), and to have a chance to read and review this amazing book.
The story is about a boy named Wes and his father, the coach, who always told him that there was only one ball in basketball. He taught him that he had to know how to be able to pass the ball to his teammates and that the most important thing to remember is how to be a team player.
It was an exciting book to read because I learned a lot about the sport of basketball. I would recommend the book for girls and boys because girls love sports, too.
