Our carnival uses bottle caps as money

In Saltaire, our camp has a carnival that uses bottle caps as money. We use bottle caps so that we can clean up the ground of littered caps. This carnival is actually not rides like an amusement park. There are homemade booths that are similar to booths at a carnival. A person needs one bottle cap to enter the activity at the booth. Some booths are sports-related challenges and some are games of luck or skill. The prizes are small, such as stickers, crazy teeth or candy. At the end of the carnival, we all have Italian ices. This is an old Saltaire tradition. We reuse many of the caps for art projects and games in our camp.
