Our Peer Leadership club

Have you ever thought about helping people? Peer Leadership is an awesome club for students at Canaan Elementary School.

It is an honor to be in Peer Leadership because you help others in the community. Kids send thank-you notes to soldiers, clean up the school, attend evening activities like Canaan Pride Night and participate in many more projects. Also, Peer Leadership teaches kids about bullying and how to handle it.

This club meets every other week. Kids are selected by their fourth-grade teacher, and can stay in the club for two years. Only six to eight kids get picked each year. Kids can learn a lot from each other.
