Raising awareness for breast cancer

Have any of your friends or family been diagnosed with breast cancer? Unfortunately, too many of us know someone who has had to battle this difficult disease. Fortunately, there are a lot of people who care and want to help. My soccer team joined the Plainview Soccer Club to bring awareness to breast cancer. We wore pink socks to show our support in order to raise money for this wonderful cause. It felt great to be part of this amazing effort.

In addition, I also ran a Breast Cancer 5K. This race is also wonderful and supports trying to find a cure. It was hard, but I got the job done. When I finished, I felt like a champion.

Unfortunately, they didn't find a cure yet, but I really hope they do soon. In the meantime, we will keep finding ways to help support others and help find a cure.
