You’re never too young to learn the benefits of recycling.

That’s what Houghton Mifflin Harcourt had in mind when the publishing firm created the new “Recycled Superheroes” video series, part of its Curious World entertainment learning app launched last fall for children ages 2 to 7.

In the videos, kids show how they crafted race cars, spaceships and more out of common (and repurposed) household items; $7.99 a month subscription available at the Apple Store.
