'Rio 2' characters part of Kohl's latest philanthropy effort

Kohl’s department stores are harnessing the magic of the movies with the newest Kohl’s Cares merchandise collection – it features characters from the new movie "Rio 2." Choices include Blu, Gabi and Luiz plush toys, a “Blu’s Wild Journey” storybook and a jigsaw puzzle of artwork from "Rio 2." Each of the choices is $5, and 100 percent of the net profit supports the Kohl’s Cares philanthropic effort supporting children’s health and education initiatives nationwide. The items are available through June 28.
In addition to the "Rio 2" collection pieces, “Woman’s Day Easy Everyday Dinners” cookbook will also be available for $5.
Since 2000, Kohl’s has raised more than $257 million.
