I just went to a new ice cream parlor, Rosie's Ice Cream in Lindenhurst. They serve ice cream, Italian ices, and even food like chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks.

They hold Music Bingo nights sometimes, too. Music Bingo is just like regular Bingo, but with song names in the squares instead of numbers. Sometimes, in the summer, they show movies on a big projector screen in the parking lot, which is also lots of fun!

I had a chance to interview the owner of Rosie's, Mark Rollino. He told me he decided to open Rosie's because he thought it would be a great place for kids. He added, "I thought it was something the town really needed."

I asked him if this was a family business, and he said proudly, "Yes, all five of my children work here."

Stop by; you will love it as much as I did. Check them out online or in person: rosiesicecream.com;
