Your child is certaintly cute, but is he kind? If so, here's a contest for you.

Sprout is looking to recruit a child as its "Chief Kindness Officer," which means that the winner will get a trip to Philadelphia with his family to tour the 24-hour preschool cable TV's studios, meet characters and hosts from some of the shows and record segments that will air next year on television and be shown online.

For a shot, go to http://sproutonline.com/kindness-counts and describe how your child helps family, community, friends, animals, the Earth or do other positive things. You also need to upload a photo.

The deadline for the Kindest Kid Contest is Sept. 30. The public will vote on four finalists at http://sproutonline.com. For every vote cast, the network will donate $1 up to $25,000 to a charity for children. An additional $5,000 will be donated to a charity in the winner's name.

The winner will be announced Dec. 21on Sprout.
