Survey: Can you keep a secret?

Every once in a while we are told a secret. We asked 105 kids if they could keep a secret or if they couldn‘t. Guess what? Most of them (80) said they could keep a secret. Just 25 kids said that they couldn’t.
When kids said they couldn’t keep a secret we asked them why not. Some said they had a big mouth, or that they would have to get the secret off their chest. Some just wanted to tell.
The kids who said that they could keep a secret said they could do it so that others won’t find out, or because it is private and they didn’t want to let their friends down.
