Survey: We love dogs best

We love our pets, but if you had a choice, would you rather have a cat or dog? I asked that question to 94 fifth-graders and here is what I found out:

Most kids think dogs are much smarter and more loyal to their owners than cats. But even more important to kids, almost everyone said they liked dogs because they are friendlier and more social than cats. We all want a pet that is fun to play with!
