Teen Vogue back to school events on Long Island
Check out the “ABC's of Style” for the new school year at two Simon mall events this weekend. Simon teams with Teen Vogue for festivities from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Roosevelt Field in Garden City and Sunday at Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove. Teen Vogue and two Simon malls on Long Island are hosting the “ABC's of Style” back-to-school event this weekend.
The festivities kick off at noon on Saturday at Roosevelt Field (630 Old Country Rd., Garden City) and Sunday at Smith Haven Mall (313 Smith Haven Mall, Lake Grove). The events are sponsored by Unilever brands St. Ives, Simple and Q-tips along with Coca-Cola and Fox's new series “Red Band Society,” debuting this fall.
Activities include a fashion show with some of the hottest school trends. At Roosevelt Field, you'll receive fashion advice from Teen Vogue's senior fashion market and special projects editor, Mary Kate Steinmiller. At 3 p.m., there will be a live musical performance by Before You Exit, as well as a meet-and-greet. Along with mallwide offers, guests will also be able to play free interactive games, watch a sneak peek of “Red Band Society,” view product demonstrations as well as a swag bag of goodies and coupons.
