Self-driving, electric, crazy acceleration and quiet. Ladies and gentlemen, the Tesla. Its creator is Elon Musk, who also owns SpaceX and the Boring Co., a tunnel-construction business. He was a co-founder of PayPal.
What Musk wants to do is change the way people commute. To do this, he invented the Tesla. Tesla is a car that is fully self-driving and fully electric, the fastest model being the Tesla Roadster, which the company says can go from 0 to 60 mph in 1.9 seconds. The company says it is one of the fastest production cars in the world! In 2018, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gave some Tesla models top rating (five stars) for overall safety.
My family owns a Tesla. We had to wait three years for our Tesla to come. It helps my dad a lot when he goes to and from New York City. While you are on autopilot, you can turn on cowbell music and rainbow road mode, which makes the road a rainbow on the monitor. You do this by pushing down on the drive shaft four times. You can also put the car in Santa mode by saying “Ho, ho, ho,” which makes your car Santa’s sleigh and all other cars reindeers on the monitor screen. Another cool thing about the Tesla is you can summon it out of your driveway. Our Tesla also receives updates like a phone.
My dad says he bought the Tesla because it’s self-driving and electric. He has to drive into the city twice a week, which is five hours of driving. My mom says she likes it “because it sounds like a UFO.”
